Whole eels are surprisingly easy to fillet and they come with clear and simple instructions. Serves approximatley 4 people.
All eels are subject to size availability.
Packaging – Whole hot smoked eel 350g minimum weight (use the head, bones and skin for the most amazing stock)
Shelf life –Hot smoked eel 14-21days
Freezing – Hot smoked eel is suitable for home freezing for up to 3 months
Availability – We will normally hold stock for dispatch next day delivery if ordered before midday
Delivery – all products are dispatched using next day delivery service with dispatch the same day if ordered before midday. Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday for delivery Tuesday to Friday (always next day service). Alternatively nominate a delivery date anytime in the future for delivery on a specific day.
Serving – Our hot smoked eel is best served at room temperature (no need to cook) accompanied by pickled beetroot and strong horseradish cream. (filleting instructions can be provided)
Storage – Keep hot smoked eel refrigerated and consume within 3 days once the packet is opened (can freeze once opened if required)
