Edith P Sunday Ramble #2

Hello, It’s Edith.P writing again from a lovely hot holiday in France. I would like to start by saying a huge thank you for the lovely comments that everyone sent it was great to hear that everyone loved my ramble because I have a dream to be famous for some reason or another! I am a little achy because on Friday it was our famous ‘Pattisson Family Olympics’ in which we have land and pool events like croquet, bowling and the lilo mount and best pool entry. The winner this year was me (team Jamaica) second place was Bertie (team Poseidon) and third place was Mummy (Dotty Dynamos). Nancy was the judge and as she and I were shaking hands she and had given Daddy a look saying to push me into the pool but he obviously misread the look and shoved us both in, Nancy was fully dressed and had her notebook with her so she got extremely angry!

That same night Stanley decided to show Daddy his “amazing” dance moves that weren’t that amazing, Daddy wasn’t that impressed by it and Mummy almost fainted laughing!!

A hot busy week in the smokehouse with lots of you enjoying our special offers – we have our August Box with free B&F bottle opener, BBQ Box including pork belly and salmon steaks, Friendly Feast with baked ham, smoked salmon and delicious pink and the smokery sausage box with pork & parsnip and venison & leek. All available delivered to your door or collected from the shop. Order via the online shop at www.brownandforrest.co.uk/shop or call the office from 9am Monday morning.

I must go now as I need to go and swim again so I don’t die the heat. Thank you again for your kind comments and I hope you enjoyed this ramble as much as the last.

From Edith.P Xx
