Packing for France & Hot smoked salmon special

Good morning from an ever so slightly fraught Pattisson Towers! Unless I have gone completely bonkers it was agreed, after days of endless and somewhat repetitive discussion, that we will not be leaving for Portsmouth and the ferry until 3.30pm this afternoon. By my reckoning this gives me until at least lunchtime to throw the three pairs of shorts, four t-shirts, two pairs of socks, my entire pant collection and my wash kit into a bag. However judging by the horror, mortification and it would appear almost rage that this conclusion has extracted from the Loons and Mrs P I must conclude that we are in fact leaving in 10 minutes! Everyone else has their bags packed and by the front door and Mrs P is suggesting we might even start loading the car? Just for the record we have not even had breakfast yet as I write this to you. It was always going to be a long day but at this rate it may well end up ranking along side ‘The Longest Day’!

Assuming I’m still invited we are off and France awaits. What that nation will make of the Loons one can only guess and I promise to let you know! Amber, Tim and the crew are in command so don’t be surprised if everything runs a lot smoother than when Mrs P and I are at the helm.

All our offers remain in place with the free delivery on a wonderfully discounted Whole Side of Hot Smoked Salmon proving to be one of the most popular of the year. Mrs P is feeling jolly smug about this as it is her absolute favourite and always says we don’t shout about it enough. It will be delivered to any door of your choosing for just £37 (a saving of very nearly £10) and coupled with this any order that contains one will automatically receive free delivery too. You can call Amber in the office on 01458 250875 from 9am tomorrow or just order online at www.brownandforrest.co.uk

I must away as Stan has apparently started packing for me so unless I wish to be left in France with nothing to wear other than a 7 year olds nylon Buzz Lightyear costume, a cricket helmet and his wellies I fear I must go and take charge.

I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

My very, very best regards,

Jess
