Scorching Sunday & Suncream

Good morning from another glorious day in Somerset. The mercury is rising and the boys and I have been to try and get the heavy lifting done before the thermometer actually breaks! No cricket for Bert this morning so the loons and Mrs P have been rather lovely and after a high level Pattisson council meeting (I’m the only family member not actually on it) chaired by Bob the guinea pig they have very sweetly allowed be to play golf this morning. Being a member of the ginger fraternity, although sadly as Stan points out with considerable regularity I now apparently look more like a ginger badger, 30 degrees in the shade may not be the most pleasant round of golf I’ve ever had. I will of course report back if I manage to avoid turning into a bit of burnt streaky bacon!

We have decided with tomorrow and Tuesdays extraordinary weather forecast we will not be sending any orders out until Wednesday when we return to some slightly more British temperatures. You can of course order still order any of our perfect summer deliciousness for delivery to any door you like. From BBQ Boxes to Sides of Salmon to Pate Selections and Whole Hams. Whatever you fancy just order away and we will get it to you for the second half of the week. Simply call Amber in the office from 9am tomorrow morning on 01458 250875 or you can order online at www.brownandforrest.co.uk

I must away as two gallons of factor 50 need painting on and Stan and Bert have volunteered and have a very determined, if not a little evil look in their eyes.

I hope you find a nice spot in the shade for next few days.

My very, very best regards,

Jess
